Chesnokov - "Let My Prayer Arise" for Cello Ensemble

Let My Prayer Arise from the Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts, Op. 24 by Pavel Chesnokov is a deeply meditative choral work rooted in the traditions of Russian Orthodox liturgical music. Composed in the early 20th century, the piece is a setting of a solemn evening prayer sung during Great Lent.
This arrangement was written for cello quartet or bigger ensemble by Bruno Lima, transposed to C minor to better use the whole cello range from low C string
